Please join us in welcoming Dr. Prashant Mandal to the Sharma Lab! Dr. Mandal earned his degrees in India before coming to the United States to work in the lab of Dr. Shanteri Singh. Dr. Mandal transferred to the Sharma lab one year later and we couldn’t be more excited to have him! Welcome to the Sharma lab Prashant!

Dr. Sharma Gives a Talk at an International Symposium

Dr. Sharma was invited to give a talk recently at the International Symposium on Carbene and Nitrene Chemistry. His presentation will be through a digital format due to restrictions arising from the CoVid-19 pandemic. Good luck Dr. Sharma, we know you’ll hit it out of the park!
Steven Schlitzer Completes His Defense, Earning His Ph.D.

Stephenson Life Sciences Research building has been approved to enter phased reopening and with that, the Sharma Lab! Students will begin reentering the building and resuming their studies. It’s good to be back!!

Adam Alber Passes His General Exam

Total Lab Shutdown

In compliance with regulations from the CDC and the University of Oklahoma, the Sharma Lab is shutting down due to the CoVid-19 Pandemic. We hope to see everyone back in the lab, returned to normal very soon, stay safe!
The Future Looks Bright For Sharma Lab Undergrads

Ibikari (IB) Legg-Jack, a Sharma lab undergraduate researcher, has accepted an offer to enter the M.D. Program at John’s Hopkins Medical School with a full tuition waiver in the Fall! We will certainly miss seeing you around IB, but you’re on to great things, good luck soon-to-be Dr. Legg-Jack!!
